Hello everyone, this is BH3D coming to you another day, showing another
3D modeling/3D printing work!
Today, we are here to show you the 3D sculpting and printing
of Ahm Yang from the RPG game Black Moon.
This time it's a little different because the model that we made was a miniature size scaled model!
As for 3d modeling, it is the same as always, details!
But a bit different, due to the size of the model were printing, When it comes to modeling miniatures, some of the details need to be blunt or thickened out, due to the size of the printed material. Too small, could lead to fail prints or broken materials; Too thick can lead to failed character modeling.
3D modeling was handled carefully, even though the hair had a lot of details toned down due to the size, but not too toned down because we want to re-create the model to its fullest form.
Aside from 3D modeling, let's get to 3D printing and painting!
Since the model is kinda small (about the size of a lighter) it wasn't hard to print, since we kept the modeling fine to print. As for painting the model with such details, also took some skills, due to small parts, and miniature painting could be hard, when not handled properly.
Honestly speaking the painting were well done skillfully by our artists!
